In addition, we have an office on northeast side of Indianapolis where the Procurement and Supplier Development Department, Business Development and Product Engineering are now located. We have a third location in Troy, Michigan which houses our Sales Engineering, Logistics Distribution Center for USA, and Customer Resident Engineering.
Your responsibilities
SUMMARY: Analyzes financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data and recommending appropriate actions. Applies principles of accounting and finance to prepare and analyze financial reports. Evaluating internal controls by ensuring that established procedures are followed and by analyzing any gaps. Participant in the process at the respective plant / OU for the personnel reporting, investment - project request, and request for Investment processes. Reporting on cost of operations by establishing standard costs and collecting operational data. Forecasting and planning for future conditions and recommending appropriate action.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Protects the assets of the respective entities by ensuring internal control policies are established and followed.
  • Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
  • Report the financial figures (Balance Sheet, P/L and Cash Flow) detailing assets, liabilities, and capital to summarize and interpret the projected company financial position.
  • Report figures for the Budget / MTP using relevant reporting system .
  • Reviews, investigates, and reports deviations on the Budget / MTP on a monthly basis preparing the correspondent set of reports, including the financial portion of the company's KPI's and makes recommendations regarding possible actions on the reported deviations.
  • Prepare monthly forecast for EBIT and ROCE.
  • Perform economic analysis of cash flow, understand accounting transactions, cost accounting and their implications.
  • Create cost estimates and collectors in SAP as needed for production parts, including review of purchase prices, bill of materials, and related burden/overhead cost rates
  • Periodic comparisons of SAP moving average vs SAP schedule agreement/purchase prices, and revaluations as needed, for purchased component inventory items
  • Analysis of the activity rates, including the Tariff booklet and definitions of work centers rates, efficiency assumed and its variances.
  • Monthly evaluation of slow-moving/obsolete/quality hold inventory reports, including adjustments to related reserves accordingly
  • Create and revise when necessary documentation related to policies/procedures/internal controls
  • Performs the company's planning cycles (Budget and MTP) following the PNA procedures strictly, keeping the due dates determined in the company's schedule.
  • Respond to requests for information from other departments/locations as needed
    Your profile
    Education and/or Experience:Bachelors' degree, with at least three years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. SAP SCM, MM&FI/CO experience would also be an advantage.
