Senior Grant Accountant - CPA Required ? Indianapolis, IN | Fully In-Office ? Up to $120,000 ? Our client, a mission-driven organization with a reputation for excellence and a strong community presence, is seeking a Senior Grant Accountant to join their dynamic team! In this fully in-office role, you'll play a key part in managing and reporting on complex grant portfolios, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting program leaders in making data-informed decisions. ? What You'll Do: Lead the accounting and financial reporting for all grants, including government, private, and foundation sources Ensure compliance with grant terms, federal regulations (such as Uniform Guidance), and internal controls Prepare and submit accurate and timely grant billings, financial reports, and budget modifications Collaborate with program staff to monitor budgets, track spending, and ensure funds are utilized effectively Support audits and assist in the preparation of schedules and documentation related to grant activity Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen grant reporting and compliance ? What We're Looking For: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in grant or fund accounting Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal grant compliance (e.g., 2 CFR Part 200) Detail-oriented, analytical, and a great communicator with a collaborative mindset ?
