Carpenter Forman - Lead Our Crew Are you a seasoned carpenter who knows how to lead a crew and get the job done right, the first time? Home Enterprises Inc. is a small, tight-knit remodeling and electrical contractor serving the Fort Wayne area. We do quality residential remodeling, and we're growing. We need a Carpenter Foreman who's been around long enough to know what good work looks like and who takes pride in making sure it happens every day. This isn't a "big company" gig. You'll work alongside ownership, not beneath layers of management. If you want your voice heard and your skills respected, you'll fit right in. Compensation: $35 - $45 hourly DOE Responsibilities: What You'll Do Lead and manage a 3–4 person crew on residential remodeling projects Run morning huddles, assign daily tasks, and keep projects on schedule Coordinate materials, subcontractors, and timelines with management Perform and oversee carpentry work: framing, finishing, drywall, roofing, and flooring Enforce quality standards and job site safety every single day Communicate clearly with management and clients — no surprises Mentor crew members and help them grow Qualifications: What we're Looking For 5 years of hands-on carpentry experience, you've built it, framed it, finished it Experience leading or supervising a crew (formal or informal) Proficient with carpentry tools, techniques, and materials Strong measuring and math skills Valid driver's license High school diploma or GED preferred Local to the Northeast Indiana area Benefits Competitive pay: $35–$45/hr depending on experience Roth Simple IRA with company match Paid holidays and paid time off Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) — we cover a portion of your healthcare costs Steady, year-round work — no seasonal slowdowns Why People Stay at HEI We live by core values: Integrity, we do what we say Reliability, we do what we say and back our work Communication, with clients and with each other Craftsmanship, we care about the details Professionalism, how we show up matters, on every job and with every client We're small on purpose.
