Light Duty Diesel Mechanic

Light Duty Tractor / Trailer Mechanic

Compensation: $22 per hour

This individual will maintain a clean, safe and organized environment while performing daily mechanical duties for Perfect Transportation, LLC. In addition, the position will assist with other tasks as needed by Perfect Pallets, Inc. and Perfect Manufacturing, LLC. Routine duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on company equipment
  
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
  
• Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues
  
• Operate general warehouse equipment
  
• Record and organize vehicle records
  
• Move company equipment as needed (i.e. tractors/trailers, forklifts, etc.)
  
• Coordinate and secure necessary parts for repair needs
  
• Minor maintenance repairs as needed in office and warehouse areas (i.e. fixing light bulbs, building furniture, painting, etc.)
  
• General Maintenance of Warehouse
  
• Assisting other team members with special projects
  
• Maintaining building security, ensuring only authorized personnel has access to the property
  
• Running errands as needed (i.e. part pickup, retrieving supplies, etc.)
  
• Shuttling company assets to dealer locations for large repairs
  JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  
  • 1 yrs of heavy duty tractor / trailer mechanic experience
    
  • Valid driver s license
    
  • Tools Provided
    
  • Forklift certified
    
  • Availability Monday- Saturday
