Requirements
This role is responsible for ensuring Verista's recruiting goals
and needs are met in a timely manner. The incumbent will develop
recruiting strategies, identify appropriate recruiting sources,
manage a team of recruiters, establish key metrics while adhering
to federal, state regulations regarding recruiting. This position
interacts with all departments in the organization and reports to
the President, Verista.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
Business Leadership:
Serve as a key strategic partner and SME to BU leadership teams,
maintaining deep understanding of business objectives and
translating into Global & Regional talent acquisition
objectives
Create an environment where there is shared ownership with business
leadership around building a culture of hiring top talent in
support of achieving companywide business objectives
People Leadership:
Elevate team to everyday excellence through coaching, developing,
and leading through vision and values.
Conduct regularly occurring structured 1 to 1 meetings with direct
reports with focus on reviewing progress against goals, challenges,
establishing short, mid and long-term action plans while providing
specific, constructive, balanced, timely feedback (as appropriate),
in ways which motivate & drive stronger performance/affinity.
Conduct Annual or Bi-Annual Skip level meetings with non-direct
reports to assess managerial effectiveness across org and apply
feedback toward coaching direct reports and operationalizing
initiatives to address identified gaps
Ensure completion of Annual Performance Reviews, Competency Reviews
& Individual Develop Plans while providing ongoing feedback
Client Focus:
Establish and cultivate strategic, value add relationships with
Tier 1 & 2 levels of business leadership and external clients as
required
Establish, continuously evolve, and present meaningful metrics to
business leaders thought monthly, quarterly and or annual reviews
that inform of areas in which we excel and where we have
opportunity to improve.
Instill a customer-focused, partnership model and approach across
the team to ensure delivery of a consistently outstanding candidate
and hiring manager experience, maximizing the team's strengths to
achieve high performance
Work with key business stakeholders and TA Team to develop and
oversee the execution of recruitment strategies that enable the
engagement and hiring of top talent for business-critical roles in
a competitive market
Initiate and oversee the production of collateral and content (off-
and on-line) that attracts and drives brand reputation amongst top
industry talent.
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of business
Managing the internal job requestion process in coordination with
the Human Resource Dept.
Assisting with other Talent Acquisition projects as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
A solid understanding of applicant tracking systems; Workable
preferred.
Min 10 Years related Talent Acquisition Experience
Min 6 years people management experience
Has lead recruiting teams of approx. 20+ directs resources
Experience within consulting, professional services and or tech
services environments preferred
Experience working within global, matrix organizations
preferred
Required Skills
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Ability to prioritize workload, multi-task and work under pressure
in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate company policies
and procedures.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
and strong customer service skills.
Ability to take initiative to complete projects, tasks and
assignments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage confidential data, and be
resourceful.
HR designation preferred
Required Abilities
Demonstrated capability to deliver on the responsibilities listed
above
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to adapt to change easily.
Ability to work well with others
Proven track record of success in leading talent acquisition for a
large business or sub-function for a market.
Experience developing and executing short, mid, and long-term, data
driven strategies that yield top talent in competitive markets
Broad business management and leadership knowledge with strong
ability to influence senior stakeholders
Supervisory Requirements
Supervises a team of Talent Acquisition Managers.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
FLSA executive and professional positions paid on salary basis,
where project requirements and tight client deadlines may require
workweeks in excess of 40 hours (including weekends or
holidays)
Work is normally conducted in an office environment setting with no
exposure to excessive heat, cold or noise
Significant desk work on a computer
Lifting requirements - 35 lbs. per OSHA requirements
