RQAW Corporation is currently seeking an environmental permitting
manager/wetland ecology specialist to join our Fishers, IN office.
This is an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and

The individual will complete/manage work associated with Indiana
Department of Transportation (INDOT) regulations, federal 404/401
permitting (which includes all aspects of delineation, mitigation
and monitoring), Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR)
Construction in a Floodway permitting and other aspects of NEPA
regulations. The individual must have the ability to manage and
mentor environmental staff.Position SummaryManage and complete
regulatory permits for transportation projects and private
development.Leads staff with various state, federal, and local
regulatory processes, such as Waters of the U.S. reports, wetland
delineation, mitigation design and monitoring.Conduct soil,
hydrology and vegetation inventory, species assessments and surveys
and plant identifications.Complete post permit compliance
monitoring.Document and summarize results of field investigations
and analyses.Leads land surveys and design efforts of ecological
restoration projects. Provide client and regulatory agency
coordination.Perform technical work and develop project execution
strategies.Oversees/assists Environmental Scientists' work in field
investigations and reports.Assists in preparation of scopes of
work, fee proposals, and responses to RFP's.Complete NEPA
documents/tasks as neededWork with other senior level staff to
manage projects.
Requirements:
Required SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and
Powerpoint, ArcMap, and/or other GIS programsRequired
ExperienceBachelor's degree in natural resource management,
environmental or natural science, biology, planning, ecology, or a
related field, plus 5+ years of experience with essential functions
and responsibilities as outlined aboveProfessional Certifications
(e.g., Wetland Professional in Training (WPIT), Professional
Wetland Scientist (PWS), Certified Wetland Delineator, NEPA, etc.)
including local professional certifications in Indiana
preferred.Additional Requirements:Ability to work in a team
environmentRegular field work in a variety of seasonal
conditions.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Local and
occasional statewide travel is required for position. About
