Job DescriptionTotal Seed Production is a corn & soybean seed production facility located in Tipton, IN. We are currently seeking a hands-on production manager for our corn operation. This individual will lead the production efforts for planting, growing, harvesting, and packaging seed corn. The position focus is on managing seed corn production, perfecting processes and controlling harvest ensuring that each unit of seed is treated, labeled, stacked, and shipped exactly the way customers want it. This position communicates daily with the President, Vice President and General Manager to create a direction for team members to help complete daily, weekly, and monthly goals. Requirements for the position are a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of related work experience; an Associate degree with 8 years of related work experience; High School Diploma with at least 10 years of related work experience. Farming or agriculture experience with additional experience in seed preferred. Previous management skills required. Functions as a member of the Management Team and must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, willing to learn and possess good leadership skills. Excellent communication and computer-related experience is also required. Individual must be willing to work long hours and work inside and outside during peak seasons.
