Position Summary:





The Business Applications Manager will serve as a liaison between the sales, marketing, and IT teams. This role will work closely with the stakeholders and subject matter experts (SME) to provide application solutions that meet Festool's business needs and data demands. To be successful, you will need a sound understanding of sales operations, financial data, workflow optimization, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a self-starting attitude.







Job Duties/Accountabilities:





Essential Functions:


  • Engage with the business stakeholders to evaluate their data needs, document requirements, and help design solutions with the business application and workflow development team by translating business requirements into functional operations
  • Analyze current workflows for optimization and work with SME to drive full adoption of business processes
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiencies
  • Assist in auditing data in business application software and execute data audits and data cleanup
  • Establish a strong working partnership with sales, finance, and operations teams to facilitate application support and new technology adoption
  • Engage and actively participate in the sprint and drive efforts to support data quality assurance
  • Participate in all phases of implementation and production support of applications and components in multi-technology, business-critical systems.
  • Gather requirements and design the most accurate and efficient solution possible.
  • Work closely with the development teams to ensure that all have an accurate understanding of the solution to limit rework to the minimum.
  • Maintain an understanding of interface specifications and configuration options.
  • Work on special projects as assigned










    Qualifications:

    Minimum requirements to competently perform the key responsibilities of this job in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge, skills, and abilities.





    Basic Requirements:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Business Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (and/or equivalent experience)
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Portfolio Support, or related area
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, including complex lookups and working with large datasets


    Preferred Requirements:


    • Exposure to BI solutions like Tableau, Power BI
    • Business Analyst/Management related certification preferred
    • Superior communication skills to communicate at all levels of the organization
