Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 327-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus as well as at 10 Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.FLSA StatusNon-ExemptJob Role SummaryThe clinician performs a variety of individual, family and group therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices. This position manages a caseload of clients identifying therapeutic, rehabilitative and case management needs, engaging other team members in meeting these needs as indicated.Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • This is a grant funded position
  • Embraces and operates under the Recovery Model, including AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) and the spirit of motivational interviewing (MI), and follows the levels of accountability
  • Completes biopsychosocial evaluation (BPSE) and develops diagnostic summary; prepares and monitors clinical treatment plan in collaboration with patient/family and treatment team at intervals determined by guidelines
  • Performs a variety of individual, family and group therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices
  • Provides consultation for primary care patients to assess for mental health and substance use disorders and link to appropriate services and resources
  • Interprets and applies service and billing procedures according to client needs; completes billing according to guidelines for timeliness and accuracy
  • Meets agency standards of timely completion of all documentation#HRSAJob Requirements--- - - -Master's degree in Human Services field
    --- - - -Candidates with a Master's of Social Work must have Licensed Social Work (LSW) and be working towards Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW)
    --- - - -Candidates must have submitted a plan to obtain licensure at the soonest date possible within a maximum allowed of three years
    --- - - -Valid Indiana driver's license that meets Eskenazi Health's driving policy requirements

    --- - - -Demonstrates solid knowledge of psychiatric/addiction diagnoses and understanding of their impact on behavior and all life domains
    --- - - -Willingness and ability to work cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team
    --- - - -Ability to interpret and apply complex directives, information, and regulations
