decompensated liver failure, alcohol withdrawal, polysubstance
abuse, psych, GI Bleed, Heart Failure Personality Fit: includes but
not limited to the ability to care for chronic trach/vend dependent
patients, neuro-surgical patients, noncomplicated back surgeries,
VP shunts, and stable subdural hematoma patients. Other patient
populations include post-drips, GI bleed,ETOH withdrawal, suicidal
and behavioral/substance abuse patients. Renal dialysis patients,
emergent situations requiring assisting withintubations of unstable
patients (which will move to a higher level of care. Other unit
procedures include chest tube placement, IVinsertion, blood
transfusions, and bedside bronchoscopy. o MPCU is a team-oriented
