Information $2,121 per week About The Position Job Title: ICU
Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive
Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in ICU or PCU License: Must have an
active RN license in hand or obtain a temporary license prior to
the start date Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: -
Ability to take higher ratios in ICU and PCU - Strong critical care
skills and experience Description: The ICU unit involves floating
to the PCU. Registered nurses must be prepared to manage higher
patient ratios. Candidates with strong PCU backgrounds will be
considered. The role encompasses comprehensive patient care,
including advanced monitoring and interventions. Key
responsibilities include interpretation of dysrhythmias and
management of various critical conditions. Registered nurses will
administer emergency medications and support patients with
ventilators. Additionally, skilled management of central lines,
arterial lines, and IV therapies is required. Experience with
post-operative cardiac care and pre/post catheterization
interventions is vital. Nurses will assist with various procedures
such as chest tube insertion and removal. Pediatric and geriatric
care are included, with a focus on adult patient populations.
Infection control practices and adherence to isolation precautions
are essential. Effective communication and teamwork with
interdisciplinary staff are critical for patient outcomes.
Travelers will float within the facility or to nearby affiliate
hospitals as needed. Flexibility to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
