Details - Department: Critical Care - ICU Units - Schedule: FT
DAYS - However, must be willing to be flexible - Hospital: St
Vincent Hospital - Location: Indianapolis, Indiana This is a new
position to the Ascension's Indiana market. We are seeking a highly
experienced, well-rounded ICU-level nurse who can observe clinical
practice, provide mentorship, and identify targeted, hands-on

Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to,
experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary
range at the time of the offer. Responsibilities Serve as a
clinical, quality, evidence-based practice and patient safety
expert. Develop caregivers in specific clinical areas in
collaboration with clinical leaders. Drive nursing quality
indicators and evidence-based practice guidelines to improve
patient outcomes. - Partner with clinical leaders to serve as a
resource and supports caregivers to improve outcomes. Assist in
identifying opportunities to improve quality and safety outcomes. -
Collaborate with clinical leaders and clinical professional
development in identifying gaps and developing plans to improve
professional growth, skills and competencies. - Support clinical
leaders in aggregating and interpreting various quality/patient
safety data with a focus on using data to drive improved care
outcomes and nursing practice. - Guide the implementation of
Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of
order sets and practice guidelines at the unit or division level. -
Aide in the analysis of research outcomes and devises strategies
for their incorporation into evidence-based clinical practice
guidelines. - Conduct unit rounds with a focus on coaching and
mentoring in partnership with clinical leadership. Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): -
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job
transfer date. American Red Cross or American Heart Association
accepted. - Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of
Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited
school/college of nursing required. Additional Preferences Key
Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
required; Master’s or CNS preferred - Minimum 3 years of critical
care experience - Experience supporting quality, safety, and
evidence-based practice (EBP) initiatives - Skilled in onboarding,
competency validation, and clinical education - Strong
communication and collaboration across interdisciplinary teams -
