Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Opening in Dayton, OH Area
Position Details Full-time, permanent Seeking a full-time faculty
physician specializing in Acute Care Surgery. This position offers
a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team that blends
academic medicine with clinical practice across Dayton and the
surrounding region. As a faculty member, you will play an integral
role in educating and training medical students, residents, and
fellows, while providing care to a diverse patient population in a
variety of clinical settings. Core responsibilities of the surgeons
in the division include resident and medical student education,
surgical and critical care of trauma patients, caring for elective
and emergency general surgery patients as well as research. The
trauma program is supported by 20 advanced practitioners, in-house
radiology and interventional radiology, an attached inpatient
rehabilitation facility, and all necessary subspecialty support
including orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics (including
re-implantation), maxillofacial, OB/GYN, and anesthesiology.

programs Job Requirements: Applicants must have completed an
accredited surgical residency program and a fellowship in
trauma/critical care and have interest and experience in scholarly
activity. Board eligibility/certification in general surgery and
surgical critical care is required. Must be licensable to practice
