Physician Opportunity This leadership position entails overseeing a
multidisciplinary team specializing in pediatric hematology,
oncology, and neuro-oncology at our children's health facility. The
focus is on enhancing clinical care, advancing research, and
fostering education. This role merges clinical excellence with
translational research aimed at improving treatments for children
facing cancer and blood disorders. It provides avenues for
mentorship, program development, and collaboration within a
prestigious academic medical setting. Our Pediatric Hematology,
Oncology & Stem Cell Transplant division is in search of an
innovative leader with clinical expertise in pediatric
hematology/oncology and/or stem cell transplantation, particularly
in Neuro-Oncology. The ideal candidate will lead a collaborative
team of neuro-oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurse
coordinators, psychologists, social workers, and other
professionals committed to delivering outstanding, family-centered
care. In this pivotal leadership role, the candidate will further
our translational mission by integrating groundbreaking discoveries
from the Wells Center for Pediatric Research into clinical practice
through early-phase and investigator-initiated trials. This
position offers a blend of clinical excellence and academic
advancement within a supportive and resource-rich environment,
featuring strong institutional collaborations, mentorship
opportunities, and cutting-edge facilities. Clinical duties will
encompass both inpatient and outpatient consultations, outpatient
clinics, and inpatient services. The successful candidate will also
have the chance to mentor trainees and junior faculty, contribute
to program development, and influence the future of pediatric
neuro-oncology research and care. We welcome dedicated and

education of future pediatric oncologists. The division's
comprehensive interdisciplinary teams provide support to children,
adolescents, and young adults diagnosed with cancer and blood
disorders, treating over 80% of the state's young cancer patients.
Annually, we care for more than 300 new oncology patients and
conduct over 13,000 outpatient visits, offering specialized care
for leukemia, solid tumors, brain tumors, hematopoietic and stem
cell transplants, as well as general hematology, sickle cell
disease, thalassemia, bone marrow failure syndromes, hemophilia,
and other coagulation disorders. Our center is affiliated with the
Indiana University School of Medicine’s Melvin and Bren Simon
Cancer Center, the only NCI-designated comprehensive center in
Indiana, and hosts the state's only nationally ranked oncology and
hematology program. We are also the exclusive provider of pediatric
stem cell transplants and CAR T-cell therapy in Indiana, with a
strong emphasis on clinical research through memberships in various
prestigious consortia. This position includes dedicated advanced
practice providers, nurse navigators, social workers, educational
liaisons, psychologists, and researchers, all within a culture that

in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology ; Preferred: Additional fellowship
in Neuro-Oncology Board Certified in Pediatrics and Board
Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology MD/DO licensed
