Job Description Job Description Athletic Trainer Full-Time Float
AT position to assist with a few of our larger high schools, in
addition to Outreach Coverage. Position Summary: This position
would provide Full-Time coverage for the Midland Baseball Program
during the summer months with a transition into a Full-Time Float
AT position, within our high school outreach program. You would
also have the opportunity to advance your skills through teaching
in our Bioskills Lab and participate in our AT orthopaedic
shadowing rotations. You will work closely with the Team Physician,
Coaches, and other Team/School personnel to ensure all student
athletes and their families have access to quality orthopaedic
care. Scheduled days will include Monday-Sunday. Hours/Schedule
will vary based on practice & game coverage. Position
Responsibilities/Standards: General Attend department, clinic or
company meetings as required. Demonstrate sound judgment by taking
appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns.
Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow
staff members. Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to
changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current
needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary. Attend required
annual in-service programs. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding

and complete duties. Duties and Responsibilities Evaluate and treat
athletic injuries under the direct supervision of the Medical
Director. Plan and implement all rehabilitation programs for return
to sport. Communicate daily with medical director and coaches on
status of injuries and progressing to return to sport. There will
additionally communications needed with parents while traveling to
tournaments. Education/Experience Required: Requirements: Graduate
of an Accredited Athletic Training Program; NATABOC Certification;
Ohio AT License; Previous experience at the High School Setting is
preferred Physical Requirements: Physical requirements for the
position include the ability to frequently hear and communicate
orally, see up close and at a distance, read and comprehend, stand,
sit, walk, reach, handle, and/or feel objects. Must be able to
climb, pull, push, and kneel. Maximum unassisted lift = 25 lbs.
Average lift less than 10 lbs. Must be able to work extended hours
as necessary.
