Ascension, a faith-based healthcare organization, is looking for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room for a travel position. This position includes adapting to different hospital environments, continuous learning, and operating with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility in various surgical processes. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse range of settings, maneuvering through OR procedures effectively. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans. Maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Support patient and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Strong operational knowledge of OR instruments and sterilization methods. Ability to adapt rapidly to varying healthcare environments. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to work autonomously and in team settings. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license. BLS/ACLS Certification. CNOR certification is advantageous.
