experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This role offers an
opportunity to practice advanced nursing skills within a dynamic
critical care environment focused on cardiac and step-down
patients. You will work in a 16-bed Coronary Care Unit (CCU) with a
nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, providing high-quality care for ICU
and cardiac patients requiring ventilator support and titratable
drips. The unit utilizes the Epic electronic medical records system
and offers a team-oriented atmosphere with a clear focus on patient
safety and outcomes. Location: The position is based at a prominent
healthcare facility in Indianapolis, situated at 8111 S. Emerson
Ave. You will be reporting to the Heart Center on the 3rd floor of
the CCU. Parking and essential orientation details will be provided
upon hire. Schedule & Hours: - Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday
nights) - 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shifts - Guaranteed 36 hours weekly -
No on-call responsibilities; holiday coverage as needed
Qualifications & Experience: - Registered Nurse (RN) license - 2
years critical care nursing experience, preferably ICU background -
Current ACLS certification - Proficiency with ventilators and
titratable drip medications - Experience with step-down units
highly desirable - Able to float to step-down or other critical
care areas as needed Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive
nursing care to critically ill cardiac and step-down patients -
Manage ventilator-dependent patients and titratable drips
effectively - Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to
implement care plans - Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic
EMR system - Adhere to unit protocols and safety standards
consistently Dress Code & Equipment: - Navy scrubs required
(hoodies and sweatshirts are not permitted) - Assigned drawer key
for medication and sharps storage in patient rooms This contract
