Job Description Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Bloomington, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 05/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Summary: Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Bloomington, Indiana. This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on May 19, 2026. If the start date, shift, or pay doesn’t line up with what you're looking for, let’s talk. Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: - Shift: 12 H Day 48 - Total Weekly Hours: 48 - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH - Trauma Level: - Facility Specific Job Notes: Experience and Skills Required:/n/n- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience./n- Travel experience is required./n- PCU experience is a must./n- Experience with patient ratios of 1:5-6./n/nCertifications Required:/n/n- BLS (Basic Life Support)/n- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)/n- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)/n/nLicensure:/n/n- License must be in hand prior to the start date. Temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted./n/nSkills:/n/n- Proficiency with Cerner charting system is required./n- Skills in telemetry, accessing/managing ports, central line care/management, PICC line management, managing vasoactive drips, PCA, titration of insulin drips, blood product administration, peripheral line care/management, starting and maintaining IVs, heparin protocols, and management of cardiac drips./n- Comfort in working with team nursing, delegation, and fluctuating ratios./n- Ability to function in a high-paced area with fluctuating ratios./n/nQualifications:/n/n- Must be comfortable with team nursing and delegation, especially with LPNs./n- Must be able to float to a PCU inpatient unit./n- Must work 2 out of the 3 major holidays./n- Must be comfortable with varying patient ratios and high patient turnover./n- Flu vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions only./n/nAdditional Requirements:/n/n- At least two supervisor references required./n- University must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation./n- Candidate must be able to work every other weekend./n- Guaranteed hours vary depending on shift work.
