PSYCHIATRIST MEDICAL DIRECTOR
FORT WAYNE, INDIANA

THE OPPORTUNITY
Join an established behavioral health team as Psychiatrist Leader and on-site Facility Medical Director at a 120-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Provide in-person psychiatric care to adults and geriatrics while partnering with hospital administration to maintain quality of care and align clinical operations with institutional goals.

CLINICAL PRACTICE
- 120-bed inpatient psychiatric service with IOP and psychiatric consultation (on-site and remote)
- Typical case load 12-16 patients per day
- Primarily inpatient, with occasional IOP coverage and telemedicine consults
- Nurse practitioner supervision as applicable
- Industry-leading clinical support with developed infrastructure, extensive back-office support, and local management

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as on-site Program Director / Facility Medical Director
- Partner with hospital administration to maintain quality of care
- Align clinical work with hospital goals and regulatory standards

CALL & SCHEDULE
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexibility
- After-hours call coverage available on a voluntary rotation
- Weekend coverage available on a voluntary rotation

REQUIREMENTS
- MD or DO with completed psychiatry residency
- Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license
- Active and unrestricted DEA registration
- Inpatient psychiatric experience
- Ability to commute or relocate to Fort Wayne, Indiana
