The Global Compensation Manager will serve as a key resource for all compensation-related matters supporting Stanley Security's global organization with an emphasis on sales compensation. This position will support the design, administration, and delivery of all compensation policies & programs to ensure competitive positioning in order to attract and retain top talent. Responsibilities will include job evaluation, market pricing, survey administration, compensation reporting and analysis, administration of our sales commission and bonus programs, and the annual compensation planning process. This role will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and a thought leader to the organization on compensation matters.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide compensation subject matter expertise and thought leadership to the organization in support of Stanley Security's compensation philosophy including incentive plan design, job grading, market pricing, internal equity, job evaluations, hourly/salaried/sales compensation structure design, etc
  • Support the development of new compensation plans, programs and policies or changes to existing compensation plans, programs and policies
  • Manage the global annual compensation review process
  • Participate in compensation surveys to ensure access to relevant market data
  • Partner with corporate compensation resources to maintain compensation structures and job code data. Ensure compensation data in HR systems are accurate and adequate to meet business needs
  • Provide analytical support including economic and cost impact models in the development of merit budgets, variable compensation guidelines, job family structures, grades, pay lines, broad bands or other structures
  • Provide pro-active compensation analysis to identify potential retention risks of key talent in the organization
  • Define process improvement and best practice opportunities to current business/work processes.
  • Provide thought leadership on compensation metrics and reporting for the organization
  • Perform audits and analysis of compensation data to ensure Stanley Security is compliant with state and federal regulations and consistent in administration of compensation policies and practices
  • Identify and analyze business problems and devises solutions to the problems
  • Other duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 5+ years of compensation experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
      • Sales compensation experience
      • Effective decision-making/critical thinking skills with the ability to manage and influence key stakeholders
      • Strong change management experience
      • Excellence in customer focus: Ability to collaborate, consult and partner with HR and business leaders to provide thought leadership and drive results
      • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail, follow-up and problem resolution
      • Experience with large HRIS/ERP systems; Workday, SAP, and Salesforce experience
      • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
