"Come grow with us!"As HR Generalist, you will be an employee relations and recruiting resource for all Associates and leaders at our Anson, Indiana manufacturing facility.Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing is a recognized global leaderin the production of Microwave and Ready-to-Eat Popcorn.The Associates at Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing share a Mission - To offer the world's highest quality, best-tasting popcorn. It's our daily dedication to excellence that has driven us to create some of the most delicious popcorn in the world.Your duties will include the following:Employee Relations - Associate disciplinary action - review write-ups and counsel leaders and associates on issues. - Conduct investigations as necessary in response to associate issues/complaints. - Respond appropriately to unemployment claims. - Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures. - Facilitates participation of a diverse mix of associates in culture-building activities. - Coaches and trains leaders in best employee relations practices and strategies for managing supervisor problems and employee concerns, utilizing Weaver Values. Develops training as needed. - Under direction from HR Department Leader, may gathers input from associates regarding employment practices, policies, and issues. - Performs other related duties as assigned.Recruiting - Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process. - - Collaborates with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed hiring criteria. - - Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies. - - Drafts and accomplishes internal and external job postings. - - Screens posting responses, accomplishes behavior-based screening interviews, summarizes results, and refers qualified candidates to the hiring manager. - - Schedules interviews with functional leaders and other stakeholders. - Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details. - - Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. -Qualifications: - BS / BA/ BBA degree in related field, or equivalent experience. HR or Business degree, preferred. - At least two years of related experience. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. - Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. - Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. - Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. - Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment. - Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. - SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferredBenefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision group health care coverage, life insurance, long- and short-term disability income continuation, and education reimbursement --- along with a 100% match of your 401(k) deferrals --- up to 10% of your earnings!OUR MISSION: "COME GROW WITH US"Physically - To LiveSocio-Emotionally - To Love Mentally - To LearnSpiritually - To Leave a LegacyWeaver Popcorn Associates share a principle-centered mission of safety and quality: A commitment to themselves, their fellow Associates, and their company.
