collaboration with Lilly Research Labs, Tech at Lilly seeks to lead
drug development in the cognitive age. We believe that advanced

serves as the Technical Lead for the Clinical Labs and Diagnostics
portfolio, providing strategic and technical leadership across a
complex, highly regulated laboratory ecosystem. The role is
responsible for shaping technology strategy, overseeing solution
design and delivery, and ensuring resilient, compliant, and
scalable platforms that support clinical results and diagnostic
data collection. As a technical leader, this role partners closely
with business and other Tech at Lilly leaders to define
future-state capabilities, drive portfolio execution, and develop
high-performing technical solutions. The role formulates direction
for Tech at Lilly strategies, plans, and architectures while
influencing leadership across business and technology to deliver
solutions aligned with enterprise goals, industry standards, and
regulatory expectations. How You’ll Succeed: Lead Clinical Lab and
Diagnostic technology strategy with a focus on portfolio delivery,
automation, operational efficiency, and technical experience.
Partner with business leaders, Product Owners, and Architects to
define and evolve current- and future-state technology strategies.
Own and execute a business-aligned technology roadmap, driving
transformation across lab and diagnostics platforms. Serve as the
primary technical authority, ensuring solutions are secure,
resilient, compliant, and scalable. Influence internal leaders and
external vendors to deliver high-value solutions while reducing
redundancy. Represent the Clinical Lab Tech at Lilly team in
cross-functional forums, identifying opportunities for
harmonization and progression. Provide technical oversight across
agile delivery teams, ensuring quality, security, data integrity,
and validation by design. Balance stakeholder needs and priorities
to guide teams toward the highest-value outcomes. Partner across
Tech at Lilly to manage risk, ensure platform support, and align
solutions with the enterprise future state. Coach and develop
technical and domain talent while continuously evolving platforms
through feedback and data-driven insights. What You Should Bring:
Demonstrated experience leading technical strategy and delivery
across complex, regulated domains, preferably within Clinical Labs,
Diagnostics, or R&D. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary
teams and influence without formal authority across organizational
boundaries. Experience defining and executing short- and long-term
technology roadmaps in a large enterprise environment. Strong
background in modern software delivery practices, including agile,
DevOps, and product-centric delivery models. Experience with vendor
and service management, including strategic partnerships and
solution delivery. Knowledge of AI/ML, automation, and emerging
technologies applied to clinical research and laboratory
operations. Experience with risk-based validation, quality, data
integrity, security, resiliency, and regulatory compliance (e.g.,
CAP/CLIA). A proven track record of leadership, accountability, and
successfully delivering large-scale technical or organizational
transformations. Minimum Qualification Requirements: Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information or
related field Minimum of five years of technology experience,
including strong full-stack development experience along with
expertise in related processes, core technologies and
user-experience best practices. Remote employees will not be

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $124,500 -
$182,600 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
