partnering with a nationally respected law firm to identify a
highly detail-oriented Conflicts Research Analyst to join its
growing team in Cincinnati, Ohio.This role is a critical part of
the firm's risk management and client intake process, ensuring
attorneys are able to evaluate new matters and lateral hires with
confidence, while meeting strict ethical and professional
responsibility standards.The ideal candidate brings prior conflicts
experience in a mid-to-large law firm environment, strong research
skills, and the ability to navigate sensitive information with
accuracy, discretion, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities In
this position, you will support attorneys and conflicts counsel by
managing conflict review processes across multiple jurisdictions
and practice areas, including: Conduct thorough conflicts checks
using the firm's electronic system (Intapp or similar platforms)
Develop effective search strategies to uncover potential conflicts
involving clients, adversaries, affiliates, and related entities
Analyze and clearly summarize results for Conflicts Counsel and
attorneys, identifying areas of concern and escalation needs
Perform corporate research using external databases to map
ownership structures, relationships, and organizational connections
Draft key documentation such as engagement letters, conflict
waivers, and ethical screen memorandums for internal review
Collaborate with Conflicts Counsel, General Counsel, and legal
teams to assist in resolution of conflicts issues Support ongoing
database cleanup, reconciliation, and client/matter record accuracy
initiatives Provide responsive, professional support to attorneys,
legal assistants, and administrative stakeholders Occasionally
assist with urgent requests outside standard business hours when
needed Required Qualifications (Must Meet to Be Considered)
Candidates must meet the following core requirements to be eligible
for interview: Minimum 1 year of conflicts experience within a
mid-to-large law firm environment Bachelor's degree OR an
equivalent combination of education and relevant law firm
experience Familiarity with legal ethics rules, professional
responsibility standards, and conflicts procedures Demonstrated
experience conducting conflict checks, corporate research, or legal
intake reviews Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and
strong analytical thinking Ability to manage multiple priorities in
a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong written and verbal
communication skills Authorization to work in the United States (no
sponsorship now or in the future) Ability to work hybrid onsite in
Cincinnati, OH Comfort with the stated hourly compensation range
Preferred Qualifications (Highly Valued) Standout candidates may
also bring: Hands-on experience with Intapp Open or similar
conflicts software Experience drafting conflict waivers and ethical
screening documentation Prior involvement in client/matter database
reconciliation or large-scale data cleanup Strong legal research or
analytical writing background Multi-office or multi-jurisdiction
