Description:The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Facilities Manager in providing a safe and secure environment for all building occupants. Not a boring desk job, will constantly stay busy and do something different every day. Essential Job Functions:-Assign maintenance repairs to vendors-Changing/installing light bulbs-Checking restrooms- making sure all battery operated systems are up and running.-Assist with mailroom duties and make badges (Controls that entire process)-Coordinate employee moves. Help take apart cubicles and assemble them.-Help assist coordination of subs/vendors(Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical)-Internal Inspections-Building Tours-Quickly trouble shoot so that they can call the service company to come and fix the problem. Individuals will also be responsible for light computer work(Outlook, Word, Excel)Top Skills Details:Maintenance, Facilities, vendorsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:MUST HAVES-2 years of experience in indoor facilities maintenance. They don't want a person that has never worked in an office building.-Must have basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing but not an all out maintenance tech. They just need to know enough to know which vendor to call.-This person needs to be professional at all times.-This person needs to be able to communicate well with the Facilities Manager(Their Boss) and the subcontractors/vendors that also help maintain the building.-This person must show a proactive approach(Ex. Fixing something he/she sees before an order is made for it.)-This person must be flexible with the ability to manage time efficiently.-This person needs to be able to take direction and carry out work orders +Badging Systems maintenanceExperience Level:Entry Level About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
