Job Description:

The Business Controller will assist in organizing office operations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, entering supply requisitions, and other office related functions to support other departments.

Your Role

The Business Controller will assist in organizing office operations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, entering supply requisitions, and other office related functions to support other departments.

Your Responsibilities

•Responsible for supporting and meeting KN and/or customer KPIs within sphere of responsibility. 
•Awareness of and adherence to QSHE programs. 
•Auditing and processing of incoming vendor invoices via the internal accounting system.
•Month-end customer billing
•Full P&L ownership - month-end accruals and deferrals
•Reporting on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews; Month end reporting and variance analysis
•Maintain proper procedures in Purchase Order Process to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and processes. Manage the P.O. process within the site
•Interact with local management and supervisors regarding business purchasing needs, ensure they are align with overall business plan for the facility
•Independently process month end procedures to ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition and result presentation.
•Ensure compliance with internal guidelines in all financial matters such as credit control, purchasing, billing and disbursement. 
•Assist with weekly projection reports with assistance from Business Controlling
•Monitor continuously business development in terms of productivities, volumes and cost.  
•Support the General Manager’s (DCM’s) in financial matters. 
•Prepare and generate monthly billing with support from DCM 
•Prepare KPI measurements as required by each individual customer contract
•Update daily, weekly, monthly &/or quarterly management reports.
•Order supplies and equipment as needed.
•Participates as needed in special department projects.
•May be required to assist with onsite hiring fairs and new hire orientation.
•Ability to work overtime as required achieving customer metrics.
•The ability to interact effectively and professionally with coworkers.
•Participate in KN Care
•Will perform other job tasks, as assigned. 


Your Skills and Experiences

•3-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
•High proficiency in financial modeling techniques
•Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
•BA, BS, or B.Com degree required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics)
•Strong analytical and data gathering skills
•Good business and financial acumen
•Proficiency in KPI metric analysis
•Effectively manage workload and projects
•Prior logistics experience preferred.
•Strong work ethic and team player.
•High degree of professionalism. Ability to communicate with various levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
