GENERAL SUMMARYThe Shipping Clerk will be responsible for packing products for shipping to customers.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*

• Computer knowledge.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to select products.
• Ability to prepare special labels for items as needed.
• Ability to operate forklift
• Good attendance
• Ability to lift 30-40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers, reach with arms and hands, stand, sit and walk. The employee must have the manual ability and dexterity to use tools for prolonged periods of time, the cognitive, intellectual and mental functions necessary to handle more than one complex task at a time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to seventy (70) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Prolonged periods sitting at a workstation and working on a computer.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe noise level in the work environment is moderately quiet. This position is subject to varying and unpredictable situations; may handle emergency or crisis situations; is subject to many interruptions; may handle multiple tasks and inquiries simultaneously; and may occasionally handle absentee replacement on short notice.Direct reports

      • High school diploma or equivalent required.
      • Experience with computers
      • Prior shipping experience preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
        • Excellent communication skills with shipping department.
        • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize.
        • Extremely organized and able to work in team environment.
        • Ability to lift upwards of 70 lbs. with assistance
        • Ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours.PI177068644
