Grand Industrial is seeking to employ a skilled Pipewelder to fill an open position. We have been operating for over 16 years without any downsizing. • Operating aerial lift equipment and material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Having and using basic hand tools correctly
• Preparing various types of steel and piping with accuracy by measuring, cutting, and preparing them with guidance
• Using power tools in a safe manner
• Being qualified to work safely in an industrial setting
• Producing 6G pipe welds of x-ray quality using GTAW and SMAW on both carbon and stainless steel of any schedule
• Demonstrating proficiency in rigging and assisting in pipe installation in the field
• Operating shop fabrication equipment
• Showing proficiency in torch and plasma cutting
• Reading and comprehending drawings and sketches
• Signaling cranes and other equipment during rigging operations
• Fabricating various weldment and structures from drawingsThe following skills are required:
  • GD&T
  • Reading Blueprints
  • Welding Setups for Production
  • High School / GED
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Basic Computer SkillsSalary info:$25 - $30 / hr
