Job Description:

The Master Scheduler needs to be well versed in SAP ERP manufacturing systems. The position understands and is able to develop rough cut capacity planning processes using SAP and analytical tools. The Master Scheduler has broad responsibilities for managing the overall flow of material from order entry through conversion and delivery to the customer, as well as accountability for tracking using SAP System. In addition, this position is expected to make critical decisions based on the best information at hand and take a leadership role in building consensus among several parties, including at times multiple business units and departments, to resolve problemsJob Description:* Identify and implement system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall business process improvement.* Develop and maintain rough cut capacity planning tools and reports.* Represents the Supply Planning Manager in key meetings.* Actively monitors and coordinates NPD (New Product Development) schedules between the Business Unit and Operations.* Monitors and understands Planning Parameters* Coordinate any expedite requests from customer with production, materials and shipping.* Alerts Business units on forecasts not being realized.* Respond to customer orders status requests from sales.* Promote and develop positive communication with sales to improve OT delivery and Fill rate to the customer.* Create, maintain and review top level production schedules.* Proactively review material supply and demand to determine appropriate actions to ensure minimal shortages in production. Make changes to schedules as required.* Interact with Customer Service, Production Planning and Product Management to resolve issues and build consensus on customer/market supply strategy to meet demand* Reporting of metrics as required by Supply Planning Manager.* Analyze data to create information required by both demand and supply personnel* Coordinate and plan material requirements for new product introductions and maintain cut-in dates for build verification and production units* Assist in the resolution of MRP and planning discrepancies* Maintain daily objectives and ensure work goals are met* Supports other projects and performs duties as assignedQualifications:* Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS);or the equivalent combination of education and experience* Minimum 5 years supply chain experience* APICS Certification is a plus* In depth knowledge of SAP* Ability to manage multiple projects and problem solve* Can work independently with little supervision* Excellent communication skills; able to communicate effectively with management and personnel at all levels.* Strong organizational and time management skills* Strong problem solving and analytical skills* Ability to work a varied schedule, willing to work overtime when necessary* Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office).Systems:* SAP (ECC & APO modules, repetitive & discrete manufacturing, variable configurator)* PKMS Warehouse Management System* BEX BW reporting & query building* Advanced use of Excel (formula creation, pivot tables, graphics, and reporting)Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, FoodSaver, Calphalon, Sistema, Sharpie, Paper Mate, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer's, Yankee Candle, Graco, NUK, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Spontex, Coleman, Campingaz, Oster, Sunbeam and Mr. Coffee.
