Job DescriptionPay Based on Experience: $50,000 - $60,000Shift:
Off-shift in various departments. You will be floating around the
plant to learn the various departments.In order to accomplish
defined production deadlines, supervise production activities on
given shift by creating goals, organizing and assigning work,
training staff, and maintaining a productive work environment.
Within areas of responsibility, ensure that all safety, quality,
and productivity processes and procedures are
followed.RESPONSIBILITIES

- Extend the civility and decency exhibited to consumers to all
other employees of the company as individuals.
- Exceed client quality and service standards by paying close
attention to the smallest of details.
- By establishing and supporting responsible operating processes,
you may ensure that the environment is protected to the greatest
extent possible.Essential
- Maintain production deadlines, quality and cost requirements,
and maximum efficiency on assigned shift by supervising, planning,
and coordinating activities.
- Ensure that work is of high quality, that materials and work
flows are efficient, that equipment and machines are used and cared
for properly, and that production processes are used
correctly.
- Employees should be chosen and trained in departmental
operations.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide guidance and coaching
so that they can continue to work in a safe and efficient
manner.
- Organize and assign work so that employees' knowledge, talents,
and abilities are put to the greatest possible use in order to meet
deadlines and perform well.
- Maintain a careful eye on operations and provide direction to
personnel on suitable procedures.
- To ensure continuous operations, have a sufficient quantity of
raw materials, production supplies, and tools on hand. As needed,
keep track of associated inventory records. Ensure that all tools
and equipment are in good operating order.
- Analyze equipment or machine issues, quality issues, and
production delays, and expedite repairs and/or remedial steps to
reduce downtime and disrupt work schedules. As needed, coordinate
equipment repairs with the maintenance department.
- Maintain open lines of communication with employees and work
with them to find collaborative solutions to challenges in order to
boost morale and foster a positive working environment.
- Maintain adherence to Company policies, work standards, and
regulations, if needed, by coaching employees and/or initiating
disciplinary procedures.
- Maintain awareness of new operating procedures, production
processes, or equipment that can increase quality, efficiency, and
cost.
- To create a safe working environment, enforce the right use of
safety equipment and maintain departmental housekeeping. Employees
should be coached to reinforce safe work practices.
- To ensure efficient operations, maintain communication with
other core room shifts and other departments.Additional
- Make sure you have the right tools for the job.
- To ensure an efficient operation, communicate suggestions and
provide solutions to challenges.
- Approach work assignments with a positive attitude and work as
part of a team.
- Perform any other tasks that may be assigned to you.EXPERIENCE
PREFERRED
- A high school diploma plus further coursework, or an
equivalent, is required.
- Three to five years of experience is required.
- Supervise a variety of tasks. Make decisions based on the
technologies you're using.You should be proficient in:
- Lean Manufacturing Principles
- ISO 9001 Certification Experience
- Scheduling Experience
- High-level Operations Analysis
- Budgeting / Forecasting Experience
- AS9100 Experience
- Shop Math Skills
- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Excellent Communication SkillsMachines & technologies you'll
