This includes project management, research, schematic design and integration, PCB layout, production support, test equipment support, and sales support. This candidate will also provide documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to tell others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*Electrical Product DesignResearchBreadboarding new designsTroubleshooting new designsDocument all testing parametersUpdate standard prototype testing processeCAD Design (currently EAGLE)Creating new parts in CAD softwarePCB layoutExport CAD data for SMT placementExport BOM data to ERPProvide manufacturing documentationElectrical Engineering Team memberAttend and contribute to Team meetingsProvide information and support to FDI team members and customers, as requiredOther duties as assigned.PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS (include but are not limited to:)While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBA or BS in Electrical Engineering Discipline requiredPrior experience in electrical product designKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESAdvanced knowledge of product installation environmentKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.PI186025694
