POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary function/purpose of this job.
The Tool & Inventory Specialist is responsible for the inbound and
outbound processing & handling of all company products as well as
spare part handling duties for the Service Operations
Department.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions
Receives all inbound packages for Service Operations Department,
moves pallets/packages to workstation area for processing.
Acts as back up for outbound phone calls and emails to dealers and
end customers for quotes, repair information and payment
information.
Opens, pre-cleans, inspects contents, condition, and stages inbound
tools into numbered inventory control bins, trays, and tags.
Reports anomalies to Repair Supervisor.
Creates Repair Orders (RO) for all received tool types in SAP,
assigns control bin/tag/tag numbers in SAP (i.e., dealer/end user
repairs, recons, internal company repairs, etc.).
Creates new end user master files in SAP for first time customer
receipts. Interacts with Customer Service on any duplicate,
missing, or questionable customer master data issues.
Picks Service replenishment orders and back orders from N.A.
warehouse, interacts with warehouse supervisor to obtain
daily/hourly Festool USA pick tickets.
Responsible to stock replenishment orders in proper Festool USA
locations as well as deliver special orders directly to Technicians
that are waiting.
Performs Festool USA inventory counts, reports results to Repair
Supervisor for next steps.
Escalates replenishment parts situations to Repair Supervisor for
guidance and direction.
Pulls the SAP tool Deliveries daily and moves completed tools to
shipping area. Matches and verifies serial numbers to Delivery
documentation. Reports mismatches to Service Operations Manager
promptly.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
High School diploma
1+ years of experience in a technical/repair customer service
capacity
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP, SAP and/or SAP Bi
Experience with Microsoft office
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally
and in writing
Possess a strong work ethic, highly accomplished attendance
history
Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer
satisfaction
Analytical thinker with good problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Capabilities to sit, stand, bend and lift up to 50 pounds
repetitively
